In order to optimise solar power generation, an independent building in the form of a solar shed was added to the Daylesford Longhouse. This addition was purposefully designed to harness solar energy efficiently. The materials employed in the construction were selected by Partners Hill with a focus on sustainability, predominantly utilising recycled and readily available resources.
